Needs Assessment for USAID Independent Living Program was conducted by Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in 2021. The McLain Association for Children (MAC) Georgia, Coalition for Independent Living (CIL), and National Association of Local Government Authorities of Georgia (NALAG) are implementing the Independent Living Program in Georgia (ILPG). The Program aims, “To support independent living of persons with disabilities through evidence-based advocacy and sustainable service provision.” It is conducted in six municipalities, including Lagodekhi, Telavi, Ozurgeti, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, and Batumi. CRRC Georgia carried out a needs assessment in each of the municipalities.

Population: Survey respondents were selected from the list that MAC and CIL provided.

Sample Design: Convenience sample

Sample Size: 707 respondents.

Response rate: 79.4%.

Survey mode: Computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI).

Interview languages: Georgian

Fieldwork Dates: September 9, 2021 to September 16, 2021.
